The Chips Joint Undertaking welcomes the Industrial Action Plan for the European automotive sector announced by the European Commission on 5th March, most notably for its focus on Innovation and Digitalisation, which is one of the five key pillars of this Automotive Action Plan.

The Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU) has launched two new calls to support semiconductor research in Europe: a call for competence centres and a coordination and support action (CSA) to Support to the European Network of Chips Competence Centres.
