The Chips Joint Undertaking welcomes the Industrial Action Plan for the European automotive sector announced by the European Commission on 5th March, most notably for its focus on Innovation and Digitalisation, which is one of the five key pillars of this Automotive Action Plan.

CEA-Leti, a technology research institute at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), announced the launch of the FAMES Pilot Line, which will receive €830 million, contributed equally by the Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU) and the participating states.
