The Chips JU is organising an online information session on the upcoming Competence Centres calls, as part of the European Commission Chips Act. The session is scheduled for the 12th of July (10:00 - 11:00). You can register for the event via our Events page.

These centres will provide access to technical expertise and experimentation in the area of semiconductors, helping companies enhance design capabilities and develop skills. They will be the first entry point for users (mainly SMEs and startups) and will guide them in accessing other infrastructures set up by the Chips JU under the Initiative, such as the design platform and the pilot lines.

First Call:

• DIGITAL-Chips-2024-SG-CCC-1: Competence Centres

• This call will select the Competence Centres that have been designated/pre-selected by different Member States at the national level.

Second Call:

• DIGITAL-Chips-2024-CSA-CCC-2: Support to the European Network of Chips Competence Centres

• This call will select a Coordination and Support Action to build a network of Chips Competence Centres, maximizing collaboration between existing European points of semiconductor knowledge and expertise.
