Chips JU welcomes the outcome of the “Strategic Dialogue on the Future of the Automotive Industry"

The Chips Joint Undertaking welcomes the Industrial Action Plan for the European automotive sector announced by the European Commission on 5th March, most notably for its focus on Innovation and Digitalisation, which is one of the five key pillars of this Automotive Action Plan.

EU strengthens semiconductor sovereignty with pilot lines and competence centres across the region
The Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU) has adopted the final text of the Hosting Agreements for two pilot lines, Pierie and the Wide Band Gap (WBG) pilot line, and selected 30 competence centres to be implemented across 28 European countries.

The Public Authorities Board (PAB) of the Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU) has selected six consortia under its recent quantum calls, marking a significant step forward in Europe’s efforts to advance quantum chip technology.
